Role Description The Network Engineer role at Seatec Telecom Services Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in the Tema Metropolitan District. The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure as well as other network-based technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring network and related devices, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and optimizing network capacity and availability. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and customers to support new projects, ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, and document network configurations and procedures. The Network Engineer will also assist with upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement of network architectures and related technologies aligned with business and customer requirements.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Network Engineering and Network Design skills for planning and implementing robust network architectures.

Candidates should possess Network Administration skills for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment.

Candidates should possess Network Security skills for implementing security controls, managing access, and protecting data and infrastructure.

Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing network issues, performing root-cause analysis, and restoring services promptly.

Candidates should possess good skills in implementing and maintaining network based telecommunication and collaboration devices

Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience, are beneficial.

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar credentials are advantageous.

Experience in working on various network related technologies such as VoIP, CCTV, Access Control will be highly advantageous.

Strong analytical and documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams are preferred.

Experience with IP routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise network monitoring tools will be considered an asset.

Experience in managing projects and supervising a team will be beneficial.
